About this collection

The Women in Blue & Gold collection includes nearly 2,000 images documenting all women’s intercollegiate sports from their establishment at Marquette through the 1999/2000 season. Our goal was to feature - where possible - at least one image of each athlete who participated on a varsity sports team for each year that she played, thereby creating a visual record of the hundreds of women who have composed the Marquette women's intercollegiate athletics program over the last 35 years.
